What We Do

Top Drawer Thrift is one of Austin's finest thrift stores and we also provide a friendly place in the community for people to spend, donate and volunteer in support of people with HIV/AIDS. All merchandise is donated by the generous Austin community. All proceeds benefit Project Transitions programs providing hospice, housing and support to people living with HIV/AIDS.

Who We Are

Top Drawer Thrift is run by Project Transitions to provide a self-sustaining source of funds. We have a staff of two full-time employees. In addition, we have a great staff of volunteers who make a valuable contribution to the store.

What You Can Do

To support people living with HIV/AIDS in the Central Texas Area, you can simply shop, donate, or volunteer at Top Drawer Thrift. Every single sale, donation, and volunteer hour helps someone living with HIV/AIDS.

15th Birthday Extravaganza

11 am - 7 pm

Top Drawer Thrift Store celebrates its 15th Birthday with a festive extravaganza fully equipped with a series of drawings for great prizes, live local music, refreshments and best of all 50% off all clothing sales! Top Drawer is a program of Project Transitions, a non-profit agency that provides hospice and housing services for individuals and families living with HIV/AIDS in Central Texas.  This Concert Series is generously being co-sponsored by KOOP Radio and St. Arnold’s Brewery.

Local bands The Lovers, Psychic Cowboys, Luna Tart, Mistress Stephanie & Her Melodic Cat, as well as DJ EL-J will perform in the store on 49th and Burnet Rd, pizza complimentary of Mr. Gatti’s will be offered in the store.  In addition, all clothing at Top Drawer will be 50% off.  All members of the Austin Metropolitan Area are invited to participate.
